Laying a Foundation for Getting to Zero Baseline Report now available on the Office of AIDS website

We are pleased to announce that the California Department of Health (CDPH) Office of AIDS (OA) has released the “Laying a Foundation for Getting to Zero Baseline Report.” This report details the twelve objectives in the “Laying a Foundation for Getting to Zero: California’s Integrated HIV Surveillance, Prevention, and Care Plan” (the plan), and provides the annual incremental goals to reach the stated objectives by the end of 2021.  Data for the years 2014 and 2015 were used to set baseline measures, and 2016 data are also reported. For some of the objectives, data for local health jurisdictions are also available and will be released separately. The report also includes a summary of OA activities during 2016. The time-period covered by this report is prior to initiating the plan, which officially started in January 2017. However, many of the activities addressed were initiated prior to 2017 and can be used to inform future work.

This is the initial Getting to Zero report and your feedback regarding the report, its format and content will be helpful to ensure future reports serve your needs most effectively.
